Ocelot
The first boss fight in Metal Gear Solid 1. Be sure to avoid going near Baker while shooting Ocelot.
Raven
When fighting Raven, you want to use chaff grenades from a distance so you don't get hit by a missile. Then just throw some grenades on the tank. The closer you get the grenades to the shooter, the more damage you do.
Gray Fox
Try to fight him without using weapons. You can shoot him at the end when the sphere looking thing appears around him.
Psycho Mantis
A unique boss fight. Plug your controller into port 2 (I show you how with the PS3) and just shoot him.
Sniper Wolf
"You've got a PSG-1? You can use that against Sniper Wolf. Hurry up and save Meryl"! If she shoots you, re-equip your PSG-1 to make things easier.
Hind D
Use the stinger missiles and launch it at Liquid. "That takes care of the cremation".
Otacon Elevator Scene
Otacon makes a scene in the elevator. It kind of scared me the first time...
Sniper Wolf 2
A little bit harder than the first one. Just shoot her. If she shoots you, than you can re-equip the PSG-1 to refocus.
Raven 2
Use the claymore mines and C4's to do some nice damage. You can also use the Nikita missile launcher to blast him if he doesn't see it. Hide behind the boxes.

A big spoiler for the game. Freaked me out.
Metal Gear REX
The chaff grenades will be your best friend. Use those to confuse the missiles coming toward you, fire your own stinger missiles back.
Liquid
No weapons allowed. This fight can be very hard. Give yourself some space and punch/kick him when the time is right.
Escape Route
He just won't give up...
